To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Cause of 10 Years of Migraines No More! I’ve suffered from migraines for 10 years. In my heart, I knew that there must be some cause for this, not that I have “migraine disease.” I tried everything. I tried every kind of preventative that the neurologist gave me. (beta blockers, calcium channel blockers, anti-depressants, Topamax, etc) I also took supplements and herbs, changed my diet and a whole host of other alternative things, such as acupuncture high colonics, hypnosis, and the list goes on and on. My regular doctor ran the usual tests on me annually. My migraines would get a little better with some things, but there were ever present, especially around my period and ovulation. Really, there were so many things triggering my migraines that I could have them at any time. I was very sensitive to the weather, couldn’t touch alcohol, etc. BUT THEN, I decided to go to this one clinic near my house and they tested me for all kinds of things. I found out I was deficient in some nutrients, but most importantly, I had an abnormal thryoid reading. My T3 and T4 numbers were ok (which is what my regular doc was testing), but my anti-thryoidglobin was usually high, which means that my body is creating antibodies against my thyroid. So, with that information, I was treated with a natural thryoid drug, Armor. After 2 weeks of being on Armor, I have not had a single migraine. I have been able to eat whatever I want and even have red wine! So, that’s my story. I hope it helps someone else, because my neurologist never suggested that this could be an issue!! Comments
