To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My migraines I don’t think this will actually help anyone, but i am curious if anyone else has migraines this bad…I have had migraines for about ten years, they started when i was in fifth grade, right after i got vaccinated. In 5th grade i blacked out and didn’t know anything, i was told that even though my mom was standing right in front of me i couldn’t see her. I was rushed to the hospital where i guess i complained of back, neck and head pain…they ran a bunch of tests but couldn’t find anything. I ended up waking up the next day just fine. But since that day i have had migraines up to four or five times a week. They go through stages, sometime growing up i’d have one once a month or twice, which was great. this year though, i am now in college, i have had severe migraines that are just ruining my life. I get so sick, My stomach gets beyond queasy to the point where food is not appetising anymore. I usually have to go to the hospital ( i try to only go to the hospital maybe once a month) I try everything first…chiropractor, cranial sacral (which has made a little difference) and massage…I hate drugs and hate needles so every migraine for me is a battle. I also happen to be a redhead so i am allergic to most everything out there. My entire left side, my arm especailly, goes numb and pains me everytime…and my vision screws up on me and everything is just painful, sounds, smells, and touch. I just recently tried cymbalta as a anxiety/migraine preventative…it made me go kinda crazy so becaregul if you take it. I cannot take immitrex or anything like that since my left side goes numb and that can cause a stroke topamx ruined me functioning ability, beta blockers made it so my vision was always blurred and i was queasy….everything i have tried has made it worse. I am so lost. i used to be an honors student and now my life just seems terrible sometimes. If anyone has suggestions please let me know. I can only handle so much pain and the hospitals will no longer see me. My neurologists have no clue what to do. One thing that does help everynow and then is sex. but that can also make it worse sometimes. Best of luck to all of you. Comments
