To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download They just won’t go away…. Hello to all. I am a 25 year old female that has been suffering from migranes [migraines] for about 8 years now. (Since I was 18). I remember my first attack, it was so painful and I just remember my head hurting and crying from the pain. As the years went on, they got worse and worse. I would have about 1-2 a month. As I became a little bit older (23) I went to the doctor and explained that I was having severe migranes and needed something to control them every month. They put me on different medications and finally something worked.. I was finally getting some type of relief. I went on Vacation with my boyfriend (who is now my husband)…on the way back I got one. I was upset b/c on the drive back from West Virginia, i was hit with 2 of them in a 24 hr period. Darn it. Well now at 25…i am still suffering more then ever. The Doctor’s have tried every type of medication that they can, and nothing works. I suffer from about 2-4 a month. I am now being referred to a neurologist to see what he can do for me. I just want to hear the words “you’re going to be ok”. I am starting a family soon, and I don’t want to suffer any worse from my pain and suffering. Its making my life hard, (yes, even at work when I have to stop and run into a dark room until it subsides.) I just want relief for good! Comments
