To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Viral Meningitus I had viral meningitus [meningitis] when I was about 26yrs. old. One morning I woke up and I could not move my neck. My headache was so severe that my mother and her friends had to carry me out to the car. I was treated with antibiotics. My mother told the doctors what I had because she had already went through the experience with my brother, sister and nephew. My brother who was the oldest had it when he was a baby. He had spinal. My sister had it when she was 8yrs. old and my nephew was 18 months old when he had it. They both had bacterial. We just don’t understand how all three of my mother kids had a form of meningitus, and they say it’s not hereditary. Do anyone have any feedback on that. I just had a friend die from fungal meningitus. He was 35yrs.old. He was in the hospital for a week, and his family pulled the plug on him. He was already brain dead. Nobody knew what was wrong with him. He had been complaining about a headache for days, but I did not see him, because I would have told him to go the hospital. I do not play with the headaches. I was so mad when I found out. I am going to miss him. Are there any other meningitus that I do not know about. Lonely soul in Baltimore! Comments
