To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Meningitis caused Epilepsy Do you have epilepsy caused by Menacocis (bacterial Meningitis)? I had it as an infant, and now suffer from partial seizures This side affect has been with me all my life (epilepsy) and even though I have tried several medications and currently take both Keppra and Neurontin (at low and high dosages to test them), I still continue to have unconscious partial seizures regularly (in oddly controlled cycles that are about 2-5 days of seizures then 2-4 months seizure free). I am hoping advanced methods or medications are available for this form of epilepsy, as, at age 35, my memory, which has always been bad, is now becoming overbearingly bad (both short term and long-term memory). I would be glad to help someone in sharing my experiences and details, and welcome feedback or ideas on treatments by a person with the same type of epilepsy or a physician who has had success in treating this type of epilepsy without further physical or mental impairment.
