Coping With Hydrocephalus

MY name it Casey and i am lillis mother she is almost a year old and was born with dandy walker syndrome known as hydrocephalus its severe and in the last year we have had 5 shunt revisions 6 surgerys and 7 hospital stays with 2 bactriel infections

its hard going through life not knowing how long she is going to be here but i have realized that she is here for a reason and im here to give her a break in life and all you can do is thank god you have them every day you do and im lucky to have her she is blind and deaf on one side and perfectly normal on the other

she is perfect in every little way and a dont know how i have made it this far without giving up but i realized she needs me and yours needs you too dont give up on them they have so much to teach you just like mine has taught me not to go its going to be there tomorrow life is diffrent when you have a handicaped child but love them like theres no tomorrow

we have been through alot and if we can do it so can you remember they do love you even though you may not hear it from em know that they do with every little piece of thier heart they love you thanks
