I am the last of my family and see them all die of Huntington’s disease. My mother die when she was 38 and I was just turned
4 years old. I had four siblings that die from it too. My one sister got it when my mother was pregnant with her.
So the doctors told us that she would never make it to her teens years but she lived to her 21st birthday. She was the 2nd child,I had an older brother and then her, but my mother came down with it in her late twenty’s.I had another brother and a sister before I was born.
When she was 34 years old I was born. they said that I was one of five that didn,t come down with it. So it was hard to see all that as a child but it made me strong and to help others, I became a (C.N.A.) and went to med.school.So don’t give up.
