My Mom

My mom was just diagnosed with Huntington’s last week. She knew no one in her family who had it before. She is turning 75 next week. I don’t understand how she has kept the symptoms from coming for so long. I’m 47 with 3 children, I don’t believe this could just come in our family like this. My mom has a brother and sister without any symptoms of Huntington’s. I also have a brother who is 50 with no symptoms. This doesn’t fit anyones elses story that I read about. Has anybody heard of this late onset?
