My boyfriend and i had dated over a year and after i found out i was pregnant he informed me he had huntington’s disease. Soon after we broke up for many reasons but mainly because he didn’t want the baby.I had amiocentesis done and found out my son also has this disease.

He is 3 months now and i’ve been doing as much research as i can. It’s so hard to know how to handle the situation. do i tell him that he has this sickness. If so when? When would he be old enough to handle that kind of news? Its really hard being a single mom to begin with but now i feel so overwhelmed. I have no idea how to plan ours lives now.
