Beautiful Mary

My best friend, Mary was diagnosed with HD in her mid-thirties. Mary will be 50 in May.She was once the most beautiful girl in our town…….heads would turn when she walked in a room. To see her like this, breaks my heart. Luckily, she still has her mind. We are able to watch movies together and I can still make her laugh.

I know these wonderful times are limited, and I am saddened to think that my childhood friend has to suffer this way. Sometimes I get so mad at God!!! How could he be so cruel? Then I think of Mary’s life before HD, and I smile because she did live her life to the fullest!!! In closing, I pray that one day they can find a cure for HD Please pray for my friend. Thank you.
