I met my husband in the fall of 1997. He was a dishwasher, and i was a waitress at a diner club in a small town in the middle of nowwhere, Montana. The first time I met him he was so confident, strong, proud, Love God. He scared me at first with his words of God. Then he grew on me I worked two jobs. waitress at night hairdresser in the day. It didn’t take long before i knew we were hanging out more and more til he ended up moving in with me and we found out were expecting a little girl.

After our two little girls was born signs of the disease started showing little jerks of his muscles off and on. Then we thought we should move close to my family in the Nevada. They helped out alot, but his disease seem to progress a lot faster but he was happy, and paranoia started in and my job was suffering from his consistant calling and checking on me. So I decided we needed professional help and we got him checked out for the disease and find out what to do with his movements.

The doctor told us he was in his advance stage. I then decided to move to a State with the knowledge for this disease to treat him. The Treatment drugs worked for a period but he still has his Faith in God. My husband still proud in a different way and I give him confident feedback like he always did me when we were younger. Our kids understand whats going on with him. They are supporting and have his big heart in life. I am now supporting the whole family its okay with me. I still have his back like he has always had mine.

I love his faith in God that gives him strength to be positive and still love life even when Huntingtons disease progesses.
