To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Chronic Daily Pressure Head and Neck Pain March of 2004 I woke up with a stiff neck and mild pressure headache at the base of my skull. I thought nothing of it other than I possibly slepted wrong. I had no history of headaches and was in good health other than a right ear blockage sensation I had gotten from a double ear infection a few years prior which was never solved. The local ER treated me with a antibiotic and pain medication and I got better after three weeks of having this headahe and neck pain. After a month my symptoms returned and got much worse. I have had the MRI’s with contrast on the brain, CT of the neck, Ct or the sinuses, Surgery of the nose and a tube placed in my ear in addition to many types of medications and nothing has worked. I wake up with no pain and after I am up for 4 hours I start to feel the pressure build around the base of my skull to my jaw, ears and then around my head. My stomach get’s upset and my abdominal area begins to feel very uncomfortable. The pain is consistant and I just pace the floor as lying down dose not make it better. I look forward to bedtime and wonder how I am going to make it through the next day. I take nothing for medications. I wish there was someone out there who could give me a clue what this might be. Thanks Barbara Comments
