To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Very Smart Doctor One day in April while at work I found myself stomping my feet on the floor while sitting - they felt a little numb. A couple hours later I left work and couldn’t lift my feet up the stairs to the garage and had to take the elevator. I drove direct to my doctor who looked me over, said he was contacting a neurologist and sent me home with major pain meds because by then my legs were killing me. The D.O. agreed with my doctors suspicions and did a spinal tap - found protein and diagnosed CIDP. Had they not found it in the 48 hours I may of been paralized or worse ! That was 12 years ago and I get frequent IVIG’s when I start to feel my feet dragging or feel real heavy. I was up to 10 week intervals but am now back to 6 weeks hoping to get stronger real soon.
