My feet were tingly and felt numb. I ignored the feeling, thinking that I must have been tired or something. I ate my breakfast, toke my shower and went to work. Upon, getting to work I started to feel worst, I even brought up my breakfast. I went to lunch and brought up my lunch. Than an alarm went of in my head something is wrong! I called my doctor, to make an appointment for after work. I went to my appointment and my doctor told me that I had a virus. She did not know what kind it was, rather it was a food or flu like virus. She also, told me to drink fluids and get plenty of rest and stay off for a couple of days from work. Well, on Thursday 3/6/08 I woke up tried to get out of bed and I could not. I was paralyzed…. I called for help, went to urgent care. The urgent care doctor discharged me and told me to go the nearest hospital emergency room. I did and there they did an extensive array of test(s). I was told that I had GBS Of course, my first thought was I scared and nervous. They admitted me into the hospital. I was in the hospital from 3/6-4/24/08. I was clear to go back to work on 6/10/08 without restrictions. GOD IS GOOD!!!!!! Comments
