To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download “Jason, A Miracle” My son Jason was just 8 yrs. old when he had G.B.S. after being admitted at one hospital on 3/24/06 and had various of test runned on him, including the spinal tab [tap]. His diagnosed at that time was unknown. One doctor unable to help my child referred him to Long Beach Millers Hospital(3/26). When we arrived at the hospital he was really sick. Soon after, he was sent to I.C.U. were it only took one doctor after being seen by so many, he diagnosed him. That same night he was then put on a respitory machine. The doctors told us that he needed to have two transplants of white cells and the rest we would have to wait. The doctors even told us that it can be months before he left the ICU and that we must have patiences. But I prayed really hard along with my family, frineds and his soccer team members that came to visit him and within a week my son was off the respitory machine and sent to the recovery wing. Two weeks later after going through therapy. My son was released from the hospital. Jason was only there for three weeks. After the doctors told us it can take up to sixteen months before he can fully recover and that he might only recover 70% of his physical. As a parent you do not to hear that. However, we did it within three weeks. My son is what we consider a “A MIRACLE” becasue he was not there for the sixteen months but only there for three weeks. Dispite the doctors diagnose my son is fully recovered and he is playing soccer what he loves the most. My son is not only a soccer player but is also on the Lords miracle lists. It was very difficult for him to walk again, but he did not want to sit on a wheel chair. Within two weeks after his release he was on the soccer field playing. For that matter one of my sister is going to become a Respitory Therapist to help other patients that might need of her help. My son has an angel watching over him and he thanks the lord everyday for his miracle. God Bless, everyone that has had this virus and hopefully it does not return never ever again. Comments
