To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download I am a 48yr old female, who has fibromyalgia for almost 30yrs. I have been to many Dr’s who up until recentley have told me that I must be depressed because all my test are normal. Nothing hurts more than when Dr’s don’t believe you. I would come home crying. I have many problems from Fibromyalgia. It started with pain in my Legs at night I was only 19yrs old and I could not sleep my legs whould drive me crazy, I would smack them up against the wall to numb them. Every night I would ask my Father to rub my legs and he would massage them for an hour every night just so I could fall asleep. He would tell me to go to the Dr and find out what all of these lumps were in my legs. The Dr would tell me they were nothing. After 10 yrs of suffering, a Dr told me I had restless leg and reffered me to a neurologist, who gave me medication, which has been a miracle for me. As time went on I developed more problems. Back pain which is severe now. Neck pain, swollen fingers, numbness in legs and feet, chronic UTI and through out my body chest arms legs I have long rope like knots under my skin. When the weather is humid or very hot or cold, I am in severe pain. If I do too much like 3 hours of house work or do anything where I am moving for a period of time, I have to lie down, but when I try to get up I feel like I’m 1000 yrs old. I have found a Dr who is helping me, but there is only so much they can do. I just wish that I could feel like a normal person instead of feeling like a lump of pain. I keep praying and hopeing for a cure for all of us who suffer on a daily basis, but I do thank God that this thing has a name, and NO I’M NOT CRAZY. Comments
