Living with Fibromyalgia

I just dont know anymore.I was diagnosed in 1996 with firbomyaigia [fibromyalgia].I ached in my legs but i worked a lot of hours up to 93 hours a week.I was a general manager for a trucking company.Well time went by and i started having chest pains so my heart doctor did a heart scope found nothing.so i just tried getting rid of some stress i got rid of a couple drivers that just created problems.It help a little but the pain contiued and got worst.Well i continued seeing a doctor.Then he said he thought i had MS test results sad no.

well in 1999 i had scheduled a drivers meeting at work at 4:00 i went in and the owner of the company FIRED ME for no reason. Later i found out that my illness was rasing his insurance raits.well i decided i would take some time off. Well i did littel odd jobs here and there then in 2000 one of my twin boys took his life JUSTIN was 23.GOD BLESS HIM.

Then about 4 months latter i got hit by lighting did not go to the hospital how stupid.no insurance so just tough it out.well by now the pain has gotten real bad and i started having problems with my eye sight and memory so in 2004 i gave up my kansas class-A cdl drivers licence. then i filed for SSI what a joke you got to be a week past dead to get SSI.

Well the real depression had set in and my world was spinning out of control so i visted the local flake farm for mental health i honestly think they have bigger problems than I.So we are at the present no SSI ive got another doctor she has got it going on all i will say is her name is whitney she has run test made some decision and you know what is the best thing she listiens and she CARES doctors pay attention!!!!!!!.

Well she has got me on ultram 200mg ER number 10 lotab twice daliy and lyrica 150mg 3 times daliy and it has helped but im in a wheelchair from time to time and Ive a month of unfogiven pain and now she is sending to a specialist to check me for A L S for those of you that think that bad 3 to 5 years of good life is better than 10 years of bad life.And one note i grew up in GUAM as a military brat {child}.In the 1950 snd 1960s there was a plant that they used as a filler in flour an other pastry productsI think the word is CYCAD {look als up}{GUAMANS} its known to cause als really bad in the people who live there does not matter what color you are.

So hopfully mabey I can get my SSI and contiue to get good helth care I forgot I was making 105.000 A year down to nothing talk about life style chang.well I hope the best for all of you AND YOUR IN MY FAMILYS PRAYER.i will let you know how things go
