Is it or isn’t ET

I am 3rd generation famial tremor. Up to this point it has been relatively mild. However within the last couple of months it has progressed to the point where I have been told not to drive(makes sense I know but how to clip the wings) My knees start to weaken then my legs shake uncontrollably making walking difficult. It then progresses to hand and arms and trunk. I have also been treated at the Hospital, given valium and toradol and then waiting for hours until they finally subside. This past week I was at the hosp.@ 11:30 am and processes by the nurses and then waited shaking and sweating rattling the bed uncontrollably until the Dr came at 300

By this time my legs had stiffened up my toes were curling back and painful, by now the nurses were reminding me to breathe. I was told by one neurologist that this was all stress. My son had video taped the first bad episode and was able to show the crisis centre it. They disagreed and recommended a second opinion also acted in my behalf in requesting it. The 2nd one spent an hour with me ordered blood work to be done. 12 vials of blood later. I now am waiting for MRI this week and a EEG in Aug. I have to use the valium because I also have low blood pressure so no point in lowering it farther 103/64 is normal for me. I am leaving my purse in stores, walked out without my wallet and not noticed for 3 hours.(got it back)

I am scarred I also work in healthcare and I am not able to work there anymore. at least for now. I am okay for some days but after one attack usually another follows within a day or two and leaves me pretty exhausted. I know my story is long and probably familiar to many of you but thanks for letting me vent.

PS most of the time they dont hurt just are embarassing. Thanks
