To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Have had this a LONG LONG time My first experience was the 4th grade. I went to get my Cheerios off the counter and spilled them all over the floor. My dad popped me in the head and asked my why I was shaking. I didn’t know. Now I do. He and 4 of his brothers and sisters had the same thing. I was recently (and finally) diagnosed with Familial Tremors I had no idea what it was. My blood pressure meds help some but alcohol seems to be the only thing that makes them stop. I’m 58 now and they are worse than ever. I’m going to see a Neurologist next month and am praying something else can be done. This is humiliating and embarrassing to say the least. People just don’t seem to understand and those who know me seem to think I’m an alcoholic, yet they’ve never seen me drunk. I drink just enough to make the tremors stop. I guess there’s nothing that can really be done so I’m just getting on with it as I have for the last 54 years. Comments
