To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download ET I have had ET for most of my life. My tremors are in my hands and head with problems with balance and coordination. I am 48 and a health care worker. ET started affecting my ability to do my job so I was referred to a neurosurgeon for DBS surgery. I had the surgery 10 months ago and it has really made a difference. I still have balance problems but my DBS is adjusted every 1-2 months, so hopefully these balance problems will fade also. But the tremor itself is virtually gone. I feel like a new person! Comments
