To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Anxiety/Tremors I am 66 years old and was diagnosed in January 2000 with chronic panic disorder. I have improved greatly since then. However, I am presently taking Sertraline, generic for Zoloft (50 MG daily). The anxiety part of my condition has been a problem for me. I don’t know if the tremors stems from the anxiety or not. I hid it for a long because it is so embarrassing to even try and write, especially if someone is waiting in line for their turn, or waiting for me to finish writing a check even. I feel so out of control and helpless. My condition is overwhelmingly embarrassing. I recently retired from work because I just couldn’t take the tremors any longer. I believe I can deal better with the anxiety than the tremors I am presently taking propanolol 10 MG twice a day. My doctor recommended increasing 10 MG to three times per day, but it made me feel too nervous, and tied, so I went back to 10 MG twice per day. Needless to say, but my condition has not improved. At times, I am so embarrassed until I could literally fall down, screaming and crying. I have willingly admitted my condition to strangers, family and friends as well. Is there any help for me out there? Will I ever be able to write normal without shaking and taking as long as three to five minutes just to write a check? Comments
