To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download To Young For This I am 25 and 4 years ago diagnosed with ET but I have also suffered from what I try to explain to doctors as muscle spasm’s on the left side of my body. I have been threw four neurologist and each one pushing a different medicine on me. They try to tell me that it’s all in my head, that I am depressed, or to stressed out. They say ET effects more so in the older age group. My brother and I have both had this disorder since we were born. With age it does get worse and I can live with the ET and I am okay with it but the spasms that effect my left side is making life hard. I need to know if there is anyone who has this as well. Doctor’s have not been able to tie the spasms to the tremors. I call these days my bad day when I am affected by both. Good days are when my hand just shake. Bay days have left me sitting in a cold shower for an hour cause I can’t function enough to reach and turn it off let along get out. I don’t like leaving alone; and I am scared to do everyday things like cooking, showering, and driving. The thing is I do leave with this everyday and I most likely will the rest of my life. Does anyone else suffer from these spasm’s as well or are the doctors right is in my head? Comments
