To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Tremors started in teens I’ve been told that at 16, I was on the verge of a ‘nervous breakdown’ & was shaking so bad including my head. Home life was not good, so my brother pulled me out of school to live with him & his family. Ever since, I’ve often noticed that I get tremors so that has held me back from doing a lot of things. It is so embarrasing! In the past few years it’s gotten worse (am now 58) - a lot of panicky feelings, & am afraid to hold a glass or cup of anything in public. I’ve just been referred to a neurologist so I hope there is some help for this. I don’t like to take any more medications, as my Mother had a problem with them & became addicted to tranquilizers.
