tremor or nervous

I have a family inherited tremour which at times is quite pronounced - A collegue of mine at work noticed the tremor during a speech to some clients and informed the boss that I was “cracking up” and “overly stressed” by the workload. As our current work load is faily soft - I took it as a direct attempt by her to divert attention onto her - and also away from her. In the end I had to go and try to explain the event away - I was so angry - that something my family views as a simple fact of life could be used against me by a competative moron - and believed so easily by some of my collegues. Fortunately not all of them fell for her comments - and at least the boss is considering the information I gave her in response.

  • Living with ET - by Christin - (Mon, Sep 17 2007)
I am now 21, I have had ET since I was in grade school, at least that’s as far back as I can think. I have always had a friend or family member ask in a very concerned tone, “Christin what’s wrong, are you ok?” I was finally diagnosed at 18-years old. I went to a Dr. who pretty much threw it off as, yeah you have tremors take propranolol and you’ll be ok. [more..]
