To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Epilespy Surgery I have had epilepsy for 13 years and 1 year ago was offered surgery after many many years of taking a numbers of different tablets.I was sent to a different Hospital who decided to test me as a new paitent ,and found out that all my fits were coming from the left templobe ,so after months and months of waiting i decided to have the operation. The operation went fine no problems, all i was left with was doublevision which i was told would go after the swelling had gone down .Its been 3months and ive just got my sight back. I am still in recovery but i have had no fits after thet operation . It has not been easy, i have bad days and goods. But i have not been damaged in any of the ways that could of happened. My sight is fine apart from doublevision and i wasnt left with any black spots in my right eye. I have a check up in 3 weeks time to see how things are going. It was a very had decision at the time but even with all the stress after im glad i had it done. Comments
