Yesterday’s Fashion-Yesterday’s Lashin’

I recently came home from a five day stint at the emergency on Saturday–Easter Sunday weekend. What I’m told is, that I had four seizures in status epilepticus. The last one lasting more than 45 minutes.

Now the hospital took me off some meds I was taking for bipolar disorder lowered dosages of other ones and increased the keppra I had been taking for epilepsy

So I’m at home now. I’m a little disoriented, a little dizzy, a little nauseous. Sometimes I feel a little unbalanced when I walk. And before I forget my memory isn’t what it used to be.

Side effects from my seizures or side effects of the keppra? Future prognoses? Any insight would be much appreciated.

Thank You And God Bless!
