Hello.. my name is Jamie, I have epilepsy I have been seizure free since 2003 until this past weekend. On Saturday morning i came to in my bed with emergency personnel standing all around me. I had no idea what happened or why they were there. I came to realize that I had a grand mal seizure. They loaded me up in the ambulance and took me to the hospital. When i got there i really wasnt all together yet , I had bitten my tounge and lost my bladder during my seizure so i was also a bit uncomfortable because of that. The doctor comes in we talk for a bit then he tells me i cant drive for six months… thats a real bummer because two weeks ago i bought myself my first new car… now i cant drive. Oh well I guess its for my own safety. (Is still a bummer though) Comments
