To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Bizzare Paralysis Seizures When my 1st neurologist was not alarmed by my sudden episodes of total blindness( he called them migraine blindness) which happened while driving…well, I just shrugged off the next symptoms as strange and weird too. It began with my hands. I would get an overwhelming exhaustion and know I was about to pass out so I would start to get up off the couch to go to bed only to find out that I could not move either arm. I tried everything I could think of as I sat on the couch. Suddenly I would yawn really big and my arms would be back to normal plus I would not be tired anymore. Over the years, these paralysis attacks became more frequent and had spread to include my feet. This year it spread up to my mouth and then to my eyes. It was happening almost all day long. I am wide awake during the episodes. I finally went to ER to have it evaluated. I discovered through the EEG done twice that I am having seizures and was put on Dilantin. The Dilantin feels like a balm of sweet oil pouring over my brain and quieting everything down! I love it!! I am finally getting energy back now that the seizures occur less often. Isn’t this bizarre! Comments
