To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download CONFUSION I had my first grand mal seizure at 13 when i was walking with a friend. It was a terribly hot day and the diszziness [dizziness] and aura started. Next thing I knew I was in hospital and termed as epileptic -grand mal and was tried on carbonmazapine so many times visiting the Institute of Medical and Vetinary Science for blood levels to be analysed. I was told that if I had no more sezures [seizures] to the agrl of 16 I could go of the medication. Fact is I never took mre than three in all so I don’t know where my parents were. The nexr seizure was when I was 22 and was in a relationship for the first time in my life. I has a seisure in a salvation army op shop - the musty smell reminded me of my grandfathers chenille bedspreas and smoke filled room. I asked one neurologist whether seizures could be a type of put of body experince to avoid a painfall situation or action. ahe said this was a possibility but so little is known of the brain, What I know of my experiences that put me at increased risk of seizures in not enough sleep, summer heat and emotional or unwarranted situations. Usually were these three or four conditions come into play I definately am at increased risk. I always saw seizures as having a body dance on the floor then straight up and of again. As I get older it takes me a day and haf to recover. I have just started taking a drug called lamotragin which is an anti epilesy drug that also assist with anxiety lethargy, depression and is calming to somewhat as it flushes against thepain receptors. My big questrion to you all who read this and I really want to know - it has affeted me since I was thirteen - do other people feel the same way or in ways I am affected or is it sonething totally different.
