  I had my first seizure when I was 4 years old (I’m now 33) and it was a grand mal seizure where I was trying to swallow my tongue. For years after that leading into adulthood I had petit mal seizures that were controlled by Phenobarbitol. I stayed on that with no problem until my body developed an immunity to it and I then went to Tegretol. After a year or so I went to Carbatrol for a change of release I believe. That seemed to lose effectiveness a little so I now take Depakote. [more..]

  I was diognosed with epilepsy when i was 14. My first seizure occured while i was sleeping over at my Aunts house. I was up all night playing video games and drinking mt. dew. The night before that i was up playing video games and didnt get much sleep. I recall playing the games and then not being able to fall asleep. [more..]

  I was diagonosed with Epilepsy in 1997. I have been on anti epileptic drugs from then on.Though it was controlled upto a certain extent but it relapsed only last year.
