To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Lip Droop=Partial seizures? All of this began in May when I had a lip droop and an eye droop. It was not Bell’s Palsy because I would also have duck lips or a twitching nose. I had no control over my face. It came back and my CT was fine. The only thing I had was a urinary tract infection and a strept infection but not strept throat. I then went to a neurologist who did a work up and everything came back fine-MRI, MRA, Echo, blood work, and a spinal tap. The only thing abnormal was my EEG. It showed I was having slowing on the right side of my brain to indicate partial seizures every time I had a lip droop. Throughout the summer I have had lip droops but recently I have had a petit-mal seizure. I am now waiting to get into another clinic but no doctor knows what is wrong with me. I am writing this to see if anyone has heard of anyone having lip droops (facial dystonia) and then seizures. I am now and so much seizure medicine that I can’t drive or even work full days because I am so tired. I am only 27 and really want some answers. I have a lot of good life to live and have two beautiful children that I want to share it with. If anyone has any experience with this I would love to hear about it. My doctors are stumped and I am just waiting to get into new ones. Comments
