My first seizure occured while i was sleeping over at my Aunts house. I was up all night playing video games and drinking mt. dew. The night before that i was up playing video games and didnt get much sleep. I recall playing the games and then not being able to fall asleep. I remember being up til dawn. The sun was rising and my heart rate was also because i was nervous. I was nervous because i couldnt sleep. When i finally fell asleep i awoke to a bunch of people surrounding me. I was terrified. Ill never forget the look on my mother face as she was in the background crying. I didnt know what had happened, more important, if i was going to be ok. As i tried fighting the unfamiliar faces i finally relaxed as i was lifted on a stretcher and into the ambulance. While i was in the ambulance with my mother and the two ambulance crew members, i found out that i had had a seizure and i was going to get some test and i should be ok to go home that night. After all the test at the hospital i went back to my grandmothers and slept the day and night away. I was exhausted. After that night i had to go so my local physician and go from there. Comments
