To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My First Seizure On Wednesday, May 16th, 2007 I had experienced my first seizure! I was with my boyfriend at his guardians house. We were watching ‘Happy Feet’. We were just joking about like normal and he had blown in my mouth really hard (he’s done this before) but this time I had lost my breath and started coughing and the next thing I know I’m in the hospital. While at the hospital I went completely blind from during the seizure to about 3 o’clock in the morning when I started to regain consiousness. I don’t remember anything that had happened and we don’t know what caused my seizure either. My dad has epilepsy and we don’t think that this is a genetic thing. My boyfriend and his guardian who is also one of my teachers saved my life. After coughing I had stopped breathing and they preformed CPR. After that while in the hospital, my mom and my boyfriend were always by my side. They never left me. Comments
