when I was 9 and a 1/4 I went to doctor’s office. it was suppose to be a rutine check up. the doctor give me morphine. due to high fever. which led me to slept into coma. I was rushed to ucla ER by helicopter. or so my mom says. there I was diagnosis with encephalitis. I was vegetable. I couldn’t move, talk, walk, or even swallow. the doctor told me to wiggle your toes BUT I couldn’t. I was in the hospital for two weeks. then I got transfer to children’s hospital in los angeles. there I got pt and ot. I learn to walk and talk through the help of the doctors and nurses I was able to get better. it was long and pain staking recovery but I got better. I was even on the national geographic magazine. the doctor’s all said that I was a miracle case. I lost two years of my childhood life in the hospital.

now I’m 32 years old. living with my parents and a sister who is kind of annoying. even though I’m a fully grown woman my judgement is like a 5 year old. I still have problems such as my cognitive ability is gone I have the thinking ability of a 5 year old child, therefore I think my thinking part was damage the most. I have a speech impediment and I’m blind in one eye. so which means I can’t drive actually that’s why I’m writing this letter. everyday but I just have to take it as life comes.

it hard sometimes and sometimes I just want to cry or even kill myself however if I do that then I won’t go to heaven. if it wasn’t for that reason that I want to so badly? to this day I don’t know why the doctor give me morphine. sorry my writing doesn’t have any punctuation mark and the miss spelled words. after all what can you expect from a 5 year old.
