West Nile Encephalitis

My father is 70 yrs. old and he was diagnosed with encephalitis. He started with headaches, fatigue then came the vomiting with a very high fever with chills. Doctors were confused why the fever wouldn’t won’t go away. His second day in the hospital was scary because he started hallucinating, slurring and he stopped breathing. They gave him cpr, he was down less then a minute and he is in a coma. Two weeks later we were told he had encephalits and that there was nothing that could be done because of his age and he suffered severe brain damage. He is in a treatment center and he has made some progress but according to what the doctors say he will never recover. BUT WE ARE NOT GIVING UP BECAUSE THE LORD HAS THE FINAL WORD.
