Abused for 13 years/Lifetime

I want everyone to be aware of the #1 cause of dimensia [dementia]. Repetitive injury to the head!!! I was married to my first love for 13 years. His last attack was on May 14, 1981. I was diagnosed with dimensia June of 2006. I am 51 years old.

My surgeon gives me “a very short time” before I will require a 24 hour caregiver. I also have a brain tumor. I had brain surgery last June, 2006. The initial goal of the surgery was to biopsy this tumor. However, because of the “vast dimentia growth”, my surgeon was reluctant to explore to find the tumor which was embedded within this growth. I think I have read of a relationship between dementia and developing tumors? Any help there? I am currently taking Execelon, but I just read this may be causing my condition to worsen. I don’t think it has helped anyway, I don’t think anything does.

I have recently visited local nursing homes to see what is in store, and I am so scared. With my heart and lungs and all other organs in perfect shape, how long could I linger? Do I need to set the wonderful man I am married to now, free? Can he get a divorce if I am declared a nut case at a later date? Does my millionaire ex-husband walk away free. Talk to me, please!
