hi, im 23 and have been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease. Ive had pain since i was 22,had an x-ray at 23 and at nearly 24yrs of age had another x-ray it shows its gotten worse in just one year. Im a little scared tho i try not to think about it, mainly scared about becoming a crippled old lady way before my time! I feel pain on a daily basis if im at work, but i just deal with it. Have started seeing a chiro but am wondering if calcium tablets will help, or arhritis treatments. Im always trying to lose weight, so im not really overweight, more just cuddly, i quit smoking as that is ment to help, but am worried i should be doing more to prevent it or fix it.
