To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download coma and me I had 3-days of seizures followed by a 3-day coma. When i emerged i didn’t know anything…my name, how to walk, etc. I found out later I had epilepsy but I have no idea what caused it. I was 24 years old. I had a job, I had been to college and it all sort of disappeared. Now at 31 I managed to put back most of my memory together by teaching myself at home. But I still dealing with the frustration of the effects, like my short-term memory being affected and dropping things because my hand will open on its own. Applying for a job is rough because I don’t remember my past jobs. Sometimes people think I’m joking when I say ‘i cant remember, but its just how my brain is now. Thats where I’m at now…hopefully it will change. Comments
