To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download COMA: I’m still alive!!! Don’t pull the plug! Don’t harvest my organs! I’m still alive!!! I was in a coma from September 24, 2007 to October , 2007. They told my family I was brain dead and asked about harvesting my organs. Somehow I heard and incorporated that information into the nightmares I felt were real while I was in a coma. I received my Last Rites from our Priest. All my family and friends came to say goodbye to me while I lay in a coma in ICU hooked up to a horrendous (But Life-saving) medical equipment entourage. My Catholic and Protestant family and friends alike prayed and cried together over me surprised by exactly how similar all our faiths felt at the most important times. My Doctor consulted Specialists all over the world and researched ceaselessly on the internet. Finally she used Dialysis to clean my body of all the neurotoxins when nothing else she could do as working. My story is very long and much more complicated, including the many events going on in my mind during the coma, but what I would most like to impart to family and friends of those in a coma is this: Give Science -medical technology and God a chance to work. Enough brilliant minds working together can make new discoveries and with God - God needs a chance to do miracles too. I do not intend to offend anyone with my post if you have a different belief system. Everyone should be respected for their own choices. I know what happened when I died, but I still respect and love all people, more now than ever. Also, I am so thankful to be alive!!! Comments
