    My grandmother is 90-years old, but she was perfectly healthy until she fell and broke her leg. They gave her a total anestesya [anesthesia] in the hospital before the operation. She woke up after the operation and she was normal, maybe a little bit disoriented. She came home, the doctors prescribed her very strong pain killers and some barbiturates and sleeping pills.     my sister was in a coma 2 years and 4 months ago. before it happened, her initial complain was uti the doctors said it was sepsis and that the infection in the blood was so high that she had 2 episodes of cardiac arrest. [more..]
