Coma at the age of 9

by: HC on Wed, Jun 06 2007

As I am writing this now, I am 34. I still have memories of my coma; memories of the rehab. It just dawned upon me recently because it is a miracle. At the age of 9 I had a head injury which caused hemorhaging leading to my coma. I was in coma for a month and my parents were told that I had a 50/50 chance of survival, let alone a normal life. To make a long story short, I had three operations from a great doctor who I owe my life to. Who knows how life would have been if I didn’t fall into coma, but I guess this is as normal as it will get.
