My back pain began 15 yrs. ago and have been thru multiple procedures, MRI’s. and specialists. My path even led me to a two yr. dependence on Oxycontin which when I realized the severity of the problem I immediately destroyed the pills and went thru a devastating withdrawl. It is an insidious drug and should only be prescribed to cancer patients. That was 6 yrs. ago. As I sit here I’m hurting so badly that I will not be able to finish this. So will close with a warning to others in my situation to try and keep a positive attitude, find a good pain management Dr. and please, please research all pain meds. prescribed. Yes, I’m still on meds. but have learned that mind over matter is a large, large part of conquering chronic pain. God bless all suffering from this invisable disease.
