One tired Mommie

I have been overly fatigued for over 10 years. I seem to have a 3 year cycle. I have seen doctors over and over and they would simply dismiss me as a tired mom. I didnt buy that. How much sleep do I need to not feel tired? I have periods when I sleep 18 hours a day. Finally I brought it up to my new doc same response. I waited a while and recently brought it up again.

I told her listen I used to be a personal trainer aerobic instructor and now I cant even walk 30 minutes without ending up in bed for 3-4 days. I told her of my cycles of 2-3 years and finaly she diagnosed me with this disorder.I felt better when I was vigorously working out but I had to stop because of life changes. I look back now and realize I was better then but I was also working out during my good years and wonder if the fatigue coming back after quiting wasnt just coincedence.

I think the job change just happened to be on my bad year. I get swollen glands in my neck and they hurt! Sometimes they are so big you can actually see them protruding from my under my skin. I get migraines all the time and migraine meds dont work they actually make them worse because they are vaso dialators and my migraines are from a dialation already. So I was on pain meds but they compound the fatigue.

So now what? I just have to suffer with these debilitating migraines? I am tired of being tired and angry about the pain. I feel guilt about not keeping up around the house. My husband is so supportive and cleans but I dont want him to get exahausted either. I havent told everyone about my illness because I know some will act like I am a big baby. Then Iwill hear you should try this or that and most of these things I cant afford. I also have a chronic kidney stone problem. Thanks for listening.
