Charcot Marie Tooth Disease

I was dx’d wtih CMT at the age of 40. I have read everything possibly out there about the disase that I could find. It appears to be getting worse as the days go on. I have so much pain in the hands, knees and feet. It seems to be worse when the weather is bad (ie: rain). I have been tested for RA which was negative. I had to educate my primary DR. on the disease. I really feel isolated from the rest of the world with CMT I would like to speak with other ppl that have actually been dx’d wtih CMT to see if they are experiencing the same symptoms as I am. I am a member of CMTA, however, they do not have ANY support groups in the state of MD. I am willing to get one started if I knew of other ppl in MD that had it.
