To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My beautiful girl My daughter was diagnosed with cmt at 16 months old, she is now 13. She suffers from dropsy foot with high arches. She stopped wearing her orthotics as she experienced more pain wearing them than not wearing them. As of the last 8 months she now suffers numbness and pins and needles in both her feet. As a mother it very distressing not to be able to ease her pain. She often tells me her hands feel like they are floating. She also has nystagnus of the eyes(wobbly eyes) so she has to look sideways to focus on things. Her father has cmt and has had several toes surgically removed, something she is not looking forward to as a few of her toes are beginning to curl under. I love her spirit, she is my ray of sunshine.
