To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download CMT I am 51 and was diagnosed with CMT about 12 years ago. My mother was in a wheelchair, my brothers legs are tiny(just bones), my half brother and his 18yr old daughter are both in a wheelchair. My oldest son has it also. I am going through such a hard time with it. I have lots of muscle in my legs but I have severe pain. My legs hurt all the time. My muscles are wassting away in my feet. About every 4-6 weeks it seems like I go through a period where my legs just won’t calm down at all. I t drives me crazy. I am on hydrocodone but does nothing anymore. I am now also on Tizanidine HCL. It makes me so tired I can’t take it during the day . I work 2 jobs (sometimes 3, 3 months out of the yesr). I can’t afford to quit. All my jobs are on my feet. I’m just miserable and don’t know if anyone can help. Sometimes I just wish I could cut them off at the knees. That sounds horrible but thats’ how bad they hurt Tamara Comments
