Confused

Hi, My husdand has suffered from CMT since mid teens. Over the years we have tried to gain info in relation to the inherant risk to our three (now adult children). However we have only managed to become more and more confused. We have two sons and one daughter. My son and his partner have a 2 year old daughter and another child on the way. My daughter is also 23 weeks into her first pregnancy and has just been for her first antenatal visit to the hospital. During this visit her fathers condition was discussed and an appointment has been organised with a genetic expert. I am hoping that this person will be able to provide some clear and precise information that we can understand in relation to this disease and how it will affect future generations.

I have, over the years been given conflicting information about the disorder and as a result I have silently worried about my future grandchildren and how they would be affected. I am now hopeful that I may yet receive the answers I have been searching for through my daughter and her experience.
