To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download What’s going on with my daughter? My 4 year old daughter Juliana was placed in the ECDD class a few months after I enrolled her in tuition pre-school. She has difficulty socializing with children and with some motor functions. She has a vision probem with her left eye, and her facial muscles (lip) on the left side have always been non symmetrical. She is a smart girl but because she walks on her toes and has some other quirky behaviors, she is not ready for kindergarten. She has repeated ear infections and colds which really knock her down for a few weeks at a time. Her birth took ten hours, the Doctor did not seem to know what she was doing and I was given a second epidural (because I asked for one)…what women in labor doesn’t ask for medication?? She may have been in the birth canal for too long. The Doctor (according to my sister who was there for the entire delivery) had no clue what she was doing. The Doctor thought that she was breech and she wasn’t…the monitors were flashing all sorts of numbers…which the nurses assured me was ok. Juliana is now “classified” as high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are currently taking her to a Chiropracter who discovered that she has 6 mis-allignments in her cervical and back area. I also have had a great deal of hip pain since delivery (also seeing the Chiropracter). Does this sound more like Cerebral Palsy or just plain neglegance? Curious for some input. Comments
