Charles, CP and Martial Arts cont.

by: KIM on Tue, May 13 2008

Charles continues his martial arts training, learning to do the Star Set form where he breaks with his hands, the reusable 2d level board with ease at the end. We are placing more demand on his left side to develop his coordination and strength using the “shrimping” drill. To develop his balance, he practices climbing up the floor mounted kicking bags which makes him look up and alines his “center”….and yes there were many tears of joy from his family during class as they watched him stand, on his own two feet and do the Star Set form. We view CP as only an obstacle, not a handicap.
