My daughter was born at 29 weeks gestation weighng only 3lbs,1.4 oz ,when we were sent home from the nicu we thought lily would just grow and be a normal baby but we were wrong ,she started having alot of reflux issues and breathing problems, and was not hitting her milestones on time,I kept telling her dr,s that someting was not right, she kept her hands fisted alot of the time, she had leg tremoers and turned both feet out ward and kept them pointed downward,

They kept telling me she was a preemie let her catch up ,she will be fine .well at 9 mo corrected she could not sit up at all, nver played with her feet, could not hold her own bottle and could not crawl,Her ped diagnosed her with cp,we waited 3 more months until she was one to see the neuro who diagnosed her with spastic quadraplegia ,

This is a hard diagnosis to hear but he feels like since lily is very mobil already (although still not sitting up)she will eventually walk ,perhaps needing a walker and afo,s she recieves therapy every week ot/pt and early intervention ,she is a very sweet and happy baby ,our little miracle fighter.
